This is a fractal manipulation using 4 fractals with Photoshop using masking and multiple layers and drop down shadow effects. I have moved to this type of work away from raw fractals. I am finding it very rewarding artistically. I love doing abstract paintings and can no longer paint because of tremors in my hands. This way I can realize my desire to produce abstract work without having to paint.
I see, when looking at this, a butterfly escaping from a peacock's prison. Don't ask me about the prison-thing because I don't know why that thought bumped up in my head and I don't know how to explain it ^^" But it's a magnificent work!
The skills and artistic concept are simply great. The lighting and positioning of these fractals are very well done. Just had to watch this for a while, to elaborate the many things to look at, separately and as a whole. Excellent Tom!
Sergio! I am a painter, potter and sculptor by way of art before I got into fractals because I got MS and could no longer do the other. So I think I have carried over some of the painter into my fractal manipulations. It's about color and abstract whimsy!
I can't imagine how you masked out those delicate features... Nice!
But it's a magnificent work!
